It's time to make the Piper!  This popular, versatile top is the perfect addition to add a pop of color to any outfit!  This piece is great for knitters wanting to learn how to learn pick-up techniques and beginner shaping techniques.  

The class is broken up into THREE 45 minute workshops: 

Part 1  We review Cast On, Ribbing, Stockinette Stitch, Pattern Reading, Garment Construction and begin to work the body up until the armhole

Part 2  We will focus on shaping the armholes, shoulders and learn about garment shaping will be working on picking up stitches to create the neck detail.  You will make the two body pieces of the sweater in-between the classes.   

Part 3  We will be working on seaming the shoulders & sides and  picking up stitches to create the neck & armhole detail. You will make the two body pieces of the sweater in-between the classes.   

 

The pattern for the Piper will be provided. Other materials are not included but will be available for purchase at the shop.

Required Materials:

  • For lightweight alpaca Style 3 (4)balls of Third Piece Fluffy Floss Yarn 
  • For Vegan Cotton style 5 (6) 50g balls of Arborea by Gedifra
  • Needles: US 11, US 15 , US 11 24" circular 
  • Darning Needle (optional)
  • Stitch Marker (optional)
