Learn how to make the Newbury Cowl - the quintessential Third Piece.  The Newbury Cowl is our best-selling piece and is you need this winter. In this class, we'll teach you how to make the embellished borders, shape the hood, and seam the pieces together.  The Newbury will be sure to get you stopped on the street, and now you can say you knit it yourself!

The class is broken up into three parts:

Part 1 works the cowl stitching.  

Part 2 covers the shaping skills needed for the hood.  

Part 3 puts the cowl and the hood together.  

The pattern for the Newbury Cowl will be provided. Other materials are not included but will be available for purchase at the shop.

Required Materials:

  • 3 Balls Twinkle Soft Chunky
  • 24inch circular - US 13 (9mm), US 15 (10mm) and size N crochet hook. **Optional US 17 24” Circular Needle.
  • Tape Measure (optional)
  • Darning Needle (optional)
