Meet Kristen
Founder + Creative Director
Kristen Lambert co-founded Third Piece through curiosity and a willingness to figure things out along the way.
Since 2012, she’s shaped the brand from the inside out: designing knitwear, creating collections, partnering with knitters and telling the stories behind them.
That curiosity has since expanded beyond knitwear into mindfulness & wellness through experiences that connect creativity, movement and longevity.
Her work comes back to a similar idea: the things we make and the space we create can change how we feel, connect, and move through the world.
Meet Maddi
Partner + Knitwear Designer
Madeleine Burrows is a formally trained fashion and knitwear designer that brings together the technical side of design with making.
She joined Third Piece in 2020, working across design, product development, pattern writing, and production to bring knitwear collections to life.
A maker at heart, Maddi’s work spans hand knitting, machine knitting, garment construction, and digital design, with an approach that is thoughtful and rooted in the process of craftsmanship.
